TAEKWONDOWAY Championship: November 16, 2019

This in-house championship gives students new to competition a valuable introduction to tournaments in a safe, fair, and friendship- building environment. It also provides more experienced students the chance to sharpen their skills and prepare to compete against other schools at the NW Taekwondo Festival in February.

Students ages 5+ who are enrolled in our children, family, or adult programs are eligible to complete in the forms, sparring (yellow belt+), and board breaking. Black Belt students of any age can compete in team forms, each team must have exactly 3 team members. Any student in our Tae-Kwon-Joe program is eligible for the “Tae-Kwon-Joe All Stars” division. Following along with an instructor, students will demonstrate their form & basic movements, and break a mini board.

In celebration of our November Family Month, our tournament will include a special family forms competition. All persons competing must be related, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 members to a team. Open to all ages. Family forms is a separate registration.

Cost:

  • 1 event $60 ($70 after October 31), additional events $20 each

  • Tae-Kwon-Joe All Stars $60

  • Family Forms $40 for the whole team.

Admission: Free for Family Month

Location: The tournament will either be held at Kamiak or Lynnwood High School
